Best sports marketing campaign (that wasn’t yours):
One that springs to mind is Orange’s campaign for the French Women's team leading up to the 2023 Women's World Cup. The campaign was exceptionally creative and utilised AI to ignite important discussions about gender equality in sports and the need for greater recognition for women's football.
Best agency (that isn’t yours):
The PHA Group, not only because I started my PR career at the agency and learned everything I need to know about the industry, but the great work they do in the Sport & Fitness space.
Best sporting event attended:
I was lucky enough to work on the ground at BELLATOR 281 as the event returned to London, with Fabian Edwards' first-round knockout of MMA legend Lyoto Machida being the night’s standout moment.
Best sporting event on TV:
The highlight was undoubtedly the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final. It was filled with so much excitement and emotion – what an incredible game of football
Best brand ambassador:
When it comes to brand influence, it’s hard to think past Michael Jordan. His iconic partnership with Nike transformed the sports brand beyond basketball and into culture, lifestyle, and fashion. But without being too biased to our great client Target Darts, watch out for the impact that Luke Littler is currently (and will continue to) having on its business.
Best film containing a scene depicting the sports business:
Moneyball – the film is a great combination of the excitement of sport with intricacies of business strategy.
Best bar or pub:
If you know me, you know I love a cocktail! Jin Bo Law has great drinks and a fantastic view of the London skyline.

Currently, it's Roka. I have become a huge sushi lover, and they also offer a nice bottomless brunch that you can't go wrong with

I don’t typically stay at resorts, but on the occasions I have, it would be The Orangers Beach Resort in Tunisia, Hammamet.
Best box set:
It's a close call between Breaking Bad, Suits, and Prison Break.
Best influence on your career:
I would be wrong not to give my mum a special mention, but within the industry, I must say Dan Funston (below) who was my former Director at PHA. He played a great part in my professional growth and development
Best dinner companions (min 4, max 6):
Lionel Messi
Barack Obama
Idris Elba
Kevin Hart
Elon Musk
Warren Buffett
Best job in the sports biz:
Professional footballer. I played at semi-pro level before I hung up the boots, but I would’ve loved to have been able to make the step up into the professional game
Best professional regret:
Luckily, none as of yet (fingers crossed it stays that way!)...
Best skill you most covet:
The ability to speak multiple languages.
Best trait you admire in others:
Someone who remains positive in any situation, regardless of what life throws at them.

Working longer than necessary. It's essential to be productive during your work hours, but it's equally important to know when to step away from your laptop and take a break
